Well, there may be something happening in the near future, but nothing is confirmed yet.
Anybody up for Charity Cut 10?
I'll know more this Saturday, hopefully. Going out with Ed and some others to cut wood down at Bull Creek. (You remember that one, Thomas?) I'll find out the status of things and see if we can help out again.
Ten years ago I answered an ad in our county newspaper, asking for help cutting firewood for the needy. I had been looking for a reason to use the 20 some saws I had at the time so I responded to the ad. You guys pretty much know the rest. What you don't know, is that no one knows who put that ad in that paper. Ed didn't . The county reps didn't. No individuals did that anybody knows of.
I only have one explanation. The Lord did it.
Sadly, life kept getting in the way and I lost interest. Putting it nicely is that I had a lot of problems I won't bother you all about. But I failed in this important venture of my life.
This past Sunday, I was nosing through my Facebook just checking friends out and such. When I logged in, at the top was a notification from Hearts to Hearth. The organization that does the firewood. It reminded me of that newspaper ad years ago and I think the man upstairs is telling me it's time to get involved again.
We'll find out more Saturday, I hope .
