Sorry to hear this. Good luck with everything. Family ground is a special thing to me. I had to google the word probate and after 5 minutes on wiki, I have to wonder why the hum we humans have to make everything so complicated. My head hurts trying to comprehend all that stuff.

Sorry to hear about this Scott. I have some great memories stopping in at your shop. Your mom was a saw and parts expert and could sell saws just as well as your dad. And I remember fondly when I stopped for some chain loops, with a sly grin your dad said “follow me..” He had a 111s squirreled away for me that was traded in and knew I would like...still love the saw and will never sell it.

As a lawyer I used to see all sorts of family issues. I thought 'thank God my family isn't that way' - then it happened.

I won't go into it, but it was worse than your situation. I just moved on with my life and have divorced myself from my family, never want to see any of them again...

Get it all in the rear-view mirror as soon as you can.

It's none of my business but I lost nearly everything in a divorce in 1991 ,Today ,retired now if I never had another dime for income I would never run out of money .
I'm the administer of my parents estate .Four of us signed off the home place so it would remain in the family,money isn't everything .
