Watching them Dolmar videos will be evil and start thoughts of putting some of them in my work saw line up again. I had whittled back down to mainly just some older USA magnesium. Maybe I could look for one of the Sachs Dolmar branded as a McCulloch...

Just checked out your YouTube vids. Really good except for one thing, the saws weren’t blue.
There is a good reason for that, I give them air to breathe freely as such they don't turn blue like so many others!
They thank me for it with issue free operation. :)

Thank You for watching! :beer-toast1:

Do not look for my ax comparison and Oregon .404" chain videos that were up for a brief time.

I have deleted them due to monetization & copyright claims by the music industry.

I will make new video clips and turn the background/work music off beforehand.

Hello Jason :ciao:

I can turn the comments on, but I am not sure I want to.
I am in no mood to see negative comments regarding my technique, missing PPE, me being a tree killer, poorly performing saws, etc.

I don't expect such comments to come from OPE members, but there are plenty other free roaming individuals that browse YouTube just to bicker & *b-word.

Would You find it acceptable to post a link of a clip and Your comment (either positive or negative) here in this thread instead? :)

I don't really care about YouTube itself, I just use it to post videos here on OPE.

I hope we can come up with a compromise.

Thank You for watching! :beer-toast1:

@jmester any specific clip You would like to comment on?

I could unlock comments on some clips and see what happens.

Two new clips coming up today, stay tuned.

Yes we can make that work. Was just thinking about not having to jump around so much. Usually when I watch YouTube I open the app and am not watching thru a link here.

I was watching the 12k and 13k wot ps-550 videos. That little saw pulls pretty good. I wanted to hear your thoughts on it based on the rich and leaner settings. The 12k seemed to give you more ability to push on it and smoothed out real good once you had in loaded well. Just a lot of blubbering. At 13k seemed a bit more smooth and clean then the 12k put seemed to not have as much pulling power. Thanks for posting. Also is that a gransfors bruks axe head in the splitting knot less oak?

That is up to you. You could try it on a couple and see if it works out in a positive way for you. If not shut it down. Put I don't want you to feel that I am pressing you to do it if you don't want to.
