This lack of maturity is going to be your downfall, not just here but in life. There was absolutely ZERO tough guy in my post; that was all sage advise. There are life lessons to be learned here, son. Apparently no one ever spoke to you sternly to catch your attention and point out that you being are a snot nosed little azshole.

Whats really interesting is the guy who did a 2 piece head and custom crank on an MS250 with a ridiculous pipe. I found that to be insanely interesting. Why? Because he could.

Someone else ported a line trimmer. Why? Because he was bored. I did it as well, damned thing never used string so fast! Why? Because I wanted to try it.

I wish there was a timeout button. You need a timeout and some time with a binky. If your parents really are Marines, they should be embarrassed they raised such a disrespectful little schitt.

Having reviewed this thread, in my opinion Dan drew first blood. Scott replied to his post about heat concerns in a manner that was in no way, shape or form, *s-wordty or arogant. That’s when all the disrespectful “prove it” BS started.

Dan not every piece of advice posted here is going to 100% pertain to the 550xp.

Now If we could just get some pictures or numbers about the saw in question we could all gain something from this thread.

Ain't no right or wrong with saw mods.

What's the worst that is gonna happen? Have to dig into the saw again.
