Local tree guy just bought a cs2236 on clearance few months ago it isn’t pumping oil. I pulled apart and the line coming from the tank to the pump is split. Molded line and when I do a search for it comes up discontinued.

Or check with Redmax since Jred is now Redmax.
EDIT: Never mind, Redmax didn’t continue that model.

Of the three places I’ve looked they all say discontinued. I am going to try the local dealer tomorrow in case they have one lying on a shelf. If not then time to get creative and make something so this saw that has 2 tanks of gas through it can be used

No idea how long that saw has been discontinued but if it’s only a few years it’s a bunch of bs that the oil lines are unavailable.

I was just at the Paul Bunyan Festival in Ohio this past weekend and walked up to all the Jreds on display. All we’re wearing new labels, Redmax.

Must be going after the grounds maintenance crowd with the redmax label. Since the trimmers and blowers sell to them they can now have a chainsaw of same brand. I know if you talk to a logger up here and we’re to tell them to buy a redmax you’d get a dumb look.

Bought a ‘99 2083 II and am having a hard time finding dogs and a few other parts for it. Anyone have an idea if dogs that fit other models will work? Any websites that may have a good parts selection? Any bit of info helps. Thanks in advance!

There is 3 sizes of dawgs for these. Being west coast you probably want the big dawgs. Those can be bought for $25 a pair on feebay from seller in Wash. https://www.ebay.com/itm/JONSERED-C...SET-BOX1549-/231821749601?hash=item35f9a72d61

With help from the forum I’ve found most of what I need. Except dogs and a clutch cover. The west coast dogs are exactly what I’ve been looking for so I’ll be ordering a pair shortly! My clutch cover is in bad shape. It had split all the way down the middle and the previous owner has it scabbed together with a small aluminum par and some rivets...

Wondering If the wrap handle on all jonsered saws are different from comparable husky? Or just the pro saws? Worked on a 2150 for a guy that was missing the 1/2 wrap handle and when I compared the mount to the blown 345 I had they all looked the same and the other than color. Handle bolted right up just grey instead of black.
