Very nice indeed. If anyone knows of a way I can copy that entire file I would love to add it to the electronic archives I plan to make available in the museum.

You should be able to just go to the site -> right click anywhere on it (or go to 'file' ) -> save as -> web page complete -> enter

All the associated images and files will download into a folder along with an html file that'll make it all work on your local machine.
The html file will be labeled the same as the folder and essentially acts as a shortcut to the offline web content which should function the same as the online version.

I've tried every approach I can think of Poge, the best results I have so far are the copy and paste into a Word document.

Ron - I am planning on being there Friday and Saturday.

Did that liner ever work for replacing stickers?

I haven't had a chance to try it yet. It is on the work bench reminding me everyday.

The method I described is available with Chrome, Firefox, and IE. If you use Microsoft Edge you'll need to go to the three dot drop down options area at the upper right hand corner and select 'Open with Internet Explorer' to re-open the web page and to access the 'Save as web page complete' option. (It will be in the Page drop down options in IE, not by right clicking on the page.) Can't vouch for Safari, but I'm sure there is a way to achieve the same results with it as well. I personally prefer Chrome and saved the bridge material with no problem and complete functionality of the content offline. I did have issues with Firefox and IE properly integrating the html file with the folder contents but the Chrome approach works flawlessly. I suspect a default browser or path conflict is to blame for the Firefox and IE issues I experienced since Chrome is my default. That said, the method is available and should still theoretically work with any default browser once you identify where the function is located for your particular situation.

PM inbound with a link to the html file and web site contents folder. You should be able use your default browser to open the html file which should then access the folder contents if they are saved to the same location on your computer...., I think. Worth a shot.

Any one know if MAC made any 1.5” stroke saws (Super 44A, Super 250, etc.) with a connecting rod that had the wrist pin bearing in it - like a SP125C?

The only one I know of with 1.5" stroke and a bearing in the small end of the connecting rod is the PM8200, but you already know all about that one.

All of the other saws and kart engines had the wrist pin as a press fit in the connecting rod and bearings in the piston.

Thanks, Mark. Not what I wanted to hear but what I suspected.

Different subject - Brian and I are trying to figure out a way to get to the GTG next Saturday. Unfortunately, other than Brian I don’t have anything interesting to bring. The short lived kart saw is in a box. My experimental saw has hit a major snag so absent an interchange miracle it won’t be unveiled for a long while.

Come if you can, I will bring an assortment of big McCulloch saws as well as some unusual models like two cylinders and no cylinders. You will meet a lot of interesting people and enjoy a day with guys and their saws.
