Like a dick, I switched two things at once (chain & carb/filter).

I want to try it with the 18 x .325 that I ran the other day. Apples to apples

Switched ole Chucky over to the WT-194 firewood setup. Tach hit 15,010
It would need richened up some to cut a load of firewood, but I only made a few cookies with this tune.

That don’t sound too good. Needs fuel. Also, soundin higher that 15 to me, by ear.

I’d love to see it cut vs the 260 I did for you. Especially with the 194 carb on Chucky.

Right. I'm in that camp for sure. Shoulda had the screwdriver wit me. The chain plain sucked. I knew it the second I set it on the log. Sure wish I would have used the other setup. (now I have to work too much to get any play time) I debated even putting up the vids. It is what it is.

Had a gander just to be sure I didn't wreck anything.

Nice Duane. Mine took about 12 to 15 tanks to really break in and loosen up.
Are you liking 3/8 or .325 better?
Are you liking the WT194 carb or the 044 setup better?
Also try both chains with a 16 inch bar. I found they all cut a little differently.
I would have to say for speed, 3/8 16" bar square file worked best for me.
For working, I like the 18" .325 the best.

The plan is to run 16" x 3/8 square. I had that on the saw the other day, but it was a poor chain. This was just to compare to the setup I was running with the 044 carb. I will keep messing around, just has to cool off some now. We hit 94 here today

It's a ripper, but the bigger carb gets more work done quicker...

I have only scratched the surface. Might be on third or fourth tank? I need to just go cut a few truck loads of firewood instead of filming different combos n stuff. After it cools off some of course.

Very true Duane. It does take a lot of time to do videos and upload them.
I went out and worked my 026 cutting lots of wood. I was using the 026 for about 85% of my work. Very fuel efficient and strong. Fun to run.
Now I gots a few more I gotta throw in the mix. Lol
I have to break in my MOFO 261cm. That is a fun saw to run too. Fuel tank seems much smaller. Pulls hard though.
