The hard to find parts for these are brake parts, starter innards, air filters, vibration mounts, and 930-style covers if you want to make the switch.

They're great running saws - stock or modded. The ignition and clutch are pretty much the only parts shared with any Husqvarna saws (181/281/288).

Which covers are needed for a 930
Top End?

What’s different?

The 930 had an upgraded air filter, intake manifold, and cover that uses two mounts on either side instead of a central mount through the middle of the filter.

A lot of guys with 920s make the upgrade if they can. It's not a huge performance upgrade but does make maintenance a little easier. There is a difference with the cylinder on the later 930s - the lower transfer ports extend all the way to the bottom of the cylinder. I have a service bulletin on it somewhere.

You can convert the 920 cylinder to 930 bottom fed without too much difficulty I would imagine.

I have a 910 cylinder here that looks almost identical to the 930. Except the lowers looked a tad smaller by eye and has a decomp on top. Interesting how they went back to the 910 style porting with the 930’s.

I’m going to move this saw.

It’s on the East Coast now & will come with a used piston as well as what’s above as it has been in the box since arriving to West Georgia.

$200 + shipping.

I’d like to just get what I have in it back.
