Can anyone get me one? Seems one of my local dealers has disregarded it twice on my wish list of parts pickup...

I don’t have the flea bay either..

4200 I believe is Stihls last 4 digits.. test flange for vac/pressure. Wasn’t sure if this is universal or not

 200+$... is this what I should expect to pay? Wow, surprising. I never thought it would cost that much. Maybe why my dealer omitted it on my list

its a long story but Dave and others re price an Item when out of stock so as to not have to reproduce the Item again. its not that expensive.

What saw are you looking to P/V test ? Many times ive used bike tubes and aluminum shims or just Gorilla tape to seal stuff up. I actually have a few "block off plates" from Stihl and find they are the least effective of my options many times.

I remember seeing the above model and was thinking maybe it was universal to a wide number of Stihl saws.. I’d build pretty much anything from the little ones all the way up so any specialty tools are always a good thing. It’s more of a intake block off I believe.

I do the same most times using bicycle inner tube and whatever else necessary to block & test, just thought having one of these would be good to have around

When using the tubes to block off do you just cut it the size/shape of the area then bolt the original part back over it? I'm also fixing an ms390 and need to get a vacume/pressure pump setup of some sort to use. New to this page. Met like 8 members this weekend at NYS Boonville NY Woodsmans Days event when I bought my new Makita 5600.

I’ve used the inner tube method on sealing the mufflers, cut into a strip that will fit between and still seal without getting pinched up on the bolts. Can also seal the intake if you make or buy the adaptors.

Pick-up the mityvac 8500 kit, works great

If you cut 2 pieces of rubber like a wedge 1"wide at the bottom, 2" wide at the top, about 4" long, you can drop it down between the bolts and tighten the muffler and carb up.

Yes! I meant to splain’ it this way but ended up typing way too much and backspaced it all.. whatchu call that, like a trapezoid-ish shape? :cunaooooo:
