Any European based dealer and/or member can get You the EU spikes.
Shipping cost will be a downer though.

I no longer have the ones I posted, a fellow member kindly took them both off my hands without any argument regarding pricing.

Finally got my 9000 back together and running. I had a leaking check valve in the carb. And while I was in there I went ahead a put a kit in it. I also put a new throttle cable in. Cut trees with it the past couple of days. It may not be as fast in the cut as a 660 but it sure does have some balls. It is going to be a great saw and worth the time and money I have in it.

Are you getting up to the limiter max rpm ? 11800-12000 rpm on the tac before it stops reading numbers properly.

I am running the 9010 flywheel and coil. If I remember I have it around 13,200. It is also not completely broke in from the new piston and cylinder. I really like it so far. I am also glad to hear they can still be had from the U.K. (9010)

What carb are you running on your 9000-9010 upgrade.
Yes...still able to get the Makita and Dolmar version of the ps-9010 at the moment . If that will change in the near future , time and rules /regulations will tell.

Unless he opted for another one it should be a Tillotson, don't know the carb model.
Dolmar part number 024 150 010.

Hi Wilhelm.
If its a early ps-9000 then it had a Bing 49b or a Tillotson HS 294a. Carb number changed once the ps 9010 went away from the high idle button in the handle. The ps 9000 "should have " the button for high idle unless changed to a newer rear tank /handle .

Dolmar PS-9000 & PS-9010 carburetors throughout the production years:
- 024 152 011 - BING 49-B , PS-9000 , still listed in stock but as "49-C"
- 024 150 010 - TILLOTSON HS-294A , PS-9010
- 024 150 030 - TILLOTSON HS-295A , PS-9010 , EU/USA
- 024 150 031 - TILLOTSON HS-295B , EU/USA

I wonder, which carburetor is preferred on these saws?!
Are they all direct bolt on swap compatible?

IMG_0842.JPG IMG_0843.JPG IMG_0851.JPG It is the HS-295 with limiters. The 294 is NLA. And yes my tank has the throttle lock button on the side. I found the only difference from the 294 was the the h and l screws. So a found the h and l screws on eBay to make the 295 non limited on the screws.
