Took a day trip to the Adirondacks with the wife today. We hiked Bald Mtn and visited the Adirondack Museum where among other cool things, we got to see some very interesting exhibits on the evolution of the logging industry there from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th. Got a few pics of some old logging hardware for you guys. :)

A few more. The Linn Tractor was invented and manufactured in central NY. It replaced horses for drawing log trains down the mountains to the rivers where they would be ran to the Gould Paper pulp mill in Lyons Falls NY. The second saw pictures had a really odd early chain on it. It was nothing remotely like a modern chain. It is designed like a carpenters hand saw, with straight teeth arranged in a wave pattern. Very cool old stuff!

I turned two $20 broken HT131 pole saws into one working one. I have always wanted one but was to cheap to buy one. Now if I will actually use it!!

I also missed buying a nice 084 at an auction two miles from my house today ( since I didn't know the auction was happening til the saws were sold). It sold for $575. Hopefully someone on here bought it.

I realize I am behind the times. Its been years since I've owned a dirt bike.
Is this a "flat tracker"? Trying to discern by the tires. :)
My ignorance is showing I know.
It’s a super-moto. Built for smaller asphalt tracks. Here’s a vid to show you the jist:
My boss is an ex racer. Now he does a couple track days a year to stay sharp. These bike are crazy light so you can ride the snot out of them and not be fatigued at the end of the day. He sends the motor to a professional builder. I think he said 68hp from the 450.

Today?
Nothing, browsing OPE. ;)

Yesterday:
- sharpened the hedge cutters teeth and trimmed all hedges
- customized a TriLink loop, still requires work
- played with my last oak log, it's getting shorter rapidly :(
- took my PS-7900 & PS-7310, walked to my neighbor down the street and finished off his log pile
It was a good productive day all in all.

Had me a bad morning. Ran into the guy who was one of my "best friends" that was nailing my ex wife while we were still married. I wanted to make him into hamburger...not because of her, but because he was a back stabbing lying bastard. He had the nerve to approach me. If there weren't cameras in that grocery store...

Got a text from my credit card company asking if I made a $300 purchase at American Eagle in Warrendale, PA. I ain't been to Pennsyltucky in almost a year. I don't frequent American Eagle anywhere....so this should be great fun!

Went to church this morning and was going to cut a hazard tree in the children's playground there but had a service call to a tenant's house for an inoperative air conditioner. Compressor was locked up so I have a company coming out to change out the entire system tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'm putting drops in my eye for a surgery taking place tomorrow morning. Hopefully they can fix the damage that took place when I got hit with a piece of wood last October. Lots going on this week.

I drove my mom to the hospital/ER this morning, sat there for 3 hours waiting on the doctor then got told she needs to stay for observation.

She has blood pressure issues, within minutes she gets uncontrollable ups and downs of too high and too low blood pressure which wrecks havoc to her.

Got this motor all done yesterday and delivered it this morning and helped get it into the frame, he is waiting on suspension and a custom pipe.

Then I did some pressure washing and made a dump run!

Then I got this bike in and done, I had built the motor for him a few years back, but he did a chassis swap, with different carb and ignition, got that all tuned in, we are going to test it tomorrow!

CR500 motor?

Because committing suicide with a gun is for whims!
