Depends on the make of the bar, some are heavier than others. Don't have a 372 here right now but I recall them being just a touch heavy with a 24 Oregon. Which is a fairly heavy bar.
My 272 is nearly balanced with a 24 lightweight SugiHara just a hair nose heavy. My 266 is balanced with a 20 regular Tsumara.
There some balance threads around you might look at.
that sounds good in my book Steve, I dress my saws with 13" for 242, 15" for 346, 16" for 550, and I guess I'll dress the 560 with 18-20", my 262 run with a 18" Sugi at the moment and is spot on.
I have to check at my dealer also, them laminat bar says me a bit though

they dont sell Total here but that is the heaviest TsuMura right? Or is it a Sugi?

Good evening lads,
Gone order the parts she lack tomorrow:
View attachment 129710

Question to your 372 guys, what bar&chain combo do they balance perfect with, 3/8" 58 ga is probleby my only option, don't want anything who make her front or back heavy.
I run a 20" most of the time on mine.
For me personally, I don't like anything bigger than a 24" on that size saw.
