Nate did say there is only a 4-5oz difference between the standard and lightweight 16” bars. Not a very big difference considering it’s pushing 15lbs when full of oil and gas with bar and chain installed.

The Japanese lightweight bars are very nice. Light, good quality, replaceable tips, bling factor, etc. That said, a regular stihl rollomatic E bar is about the same weight and a lot cheaper. In the long run, the sugis and Tsumuras might be a better deal because of the tips and the quality, but it'd take a lot of hours of run time before it penciled out.
Found no difference between Total and Stihl E 3005 mounts. Same same. The Total bars is basically a clone of the E bar. Same wear, same length and weight.

Anyone else looking for non light 20" bars for 3003 mounts? I can get some new ones. Oregon Pro built but looks like an E bar from Stihl.

Much harder steel in the Tsumura's though. Last much longer than a Stihl bar.

I really like the cheap Oregon bars on small saws. The ones you can’t replace the nose on. They are actually light. I have some good bars that I took off because they are heavier. I do dumb *s-word like one handing a saw over my head from time to time. The difference is noticeable.

As long as you are yelling "BONSIA" while doing then it's legit.
