Gonna bring both to the upcoming gtg? Can probably square off another piece of wood. Not scientific but good enough for who it’s for. Lol
Absolutely!!!!!
I don't care if I have the bestest or fastest saw. I just have fun!
And work'em.
It's all good. Mason and I both joke with each other, but we both respect each other and our saws. It's a good thing. [emoji106]

The best part of my addiction is that I don't have, or make time to prove anything. So, it ends up being endless speculation and wondering on my part. Next time I'll try this or next time I'll try that etc. etc. If I ever had all the answers, I would lose interest in a hurry

Putting a 346 against a 261 would be very interesting. I would not bet against the 261.
Well both are in my lineup and will go head to head in the near future! The 346 in stock form really impressed me! The 261 in ported form is awesome! Time will tell! The 346 is with @t4driller getting some work done as we speak!

I’ve seen 350/346 series saws beat a lot of other 3 cube saws at some of the gtgs. They just have good potential. A good 5105 is one fast/torquey saw though. It really comes down to who ported it/chain etc. I do like the 261/550 better stock vs stock than the 346 for work.

I'm sure everyone is glad that red oak cants are not showing up at the GTG's!
Al was ready to blow this thing apart with his goose gun. I switched it over to a blue Ducatti coil (that Al sent along) and presto, Chucky's in rehab.

That's an @Icepick69 .325 x 18 SG chain, that is getting some miles on it these days, and it looks as good as the day I opened the box.

It's time to get a new one.
I'll be back Thursday, hit me up if you like.

Well this chain kinda sucks. Doesn't self feed very well.

Switched ole Chucky over to the WT-194 firewood setup. Tach hit 15,010
It would need richened up some to cut a load of firewood, but I only made a few cookies with this tune.

Nice! Definitely needs to richen up a bit. Not much.
Does one setup feel stronger than the other?
