@Lone Wolf Ok, I'll buy another piston set. But I'm not going oem on this because it's almost three times as expensive as the meteor piston set. Which is as I understand not bad. Any tips on assembling these C-rings for the piston pin?
I have the seal installer and the sleeve as well. The whole saw including the carb was running just fine until the chain broke and toke a bite out of the crank case :crybaby2:But now it gets a total overhaul which with some forum help might even succeed.
Where are you ,three times the price OEM is 50 .00 around here and Meteor is about 40.00? Dont worry about the clips you just need a sharp pick to remove and install the trick is to have it in the right spot and not stretch it too far. We will go over that when you get to it.

@Lone Wolf, I'm in The Netherlands, Europe. So the cost of anything roughly almost twice as much. Even stuff made in Europe and shipped to and sold in the US. Look at cars and chainsaws for example. The MS362 C-M 20" bar has a msrp of $770 (if I'm not mistaken) that same saw has a msrp of 1069euros=$1269 over here.
The oem piston kit costs $118 and the meteor kit costs $40. Perhaps I can get something of because the trade price of the oem is more something like $80-$85 but still nowhere near the US prices.
And that ebay seller dssjms takes no questions via ebay and doesn't ship outside the us. I really would like to do some business with him. I could afford some special tools as well. If anybody would offer to buy some stuff for me and ship it to me I would be very grateful. Payment via PayPal. I'd buy a couple of expensive items in the US and the rest in Europe.

What do you think the shipping would cost to where you are?

A lot depends on whether you've got an account with usps, fedex etc, it's much cheaper with an account. According to this site between $10 and $35 depending on weight, transit time etc. I checked at usps and that rate was few dollars higher than the quoted price on parcelexpress. It might also depend on the celestial movements, who knows with these large corps. Anyway not too expensive.
