That's welding! I was looking at your first pic and couldn't figure out what was going on there. Those beads are the width of duct tape....:chuck:

Lol, try to keep em 2" wide and 1/4" of build up.

This wire is for flat work. Real bugger to make it go vertical. Bout like running syrup through a straw.

Only bout 3" more build up to go.

4ft extension to stay outta the heat some.

I guess you can now say exactly what a Thanksgiving turkey feels like. Gotta be smoking hot in there. :flamethrower2:

Remind me to not b!itch about working doubles. You are one tough dude! My father was a millwright at a paper mill. He once spent 12 hr a day for 2 weeks straight on a ladder welding up a new hydropulper tank. Did it when he was 65. I ain't that tough

Yeah. They're older but good welders. Great for heavy plate

I misunderstood. Thought you were talking about the new flex tec 650 machines

Yep the 600/655's are tough old beasts.

national wire feed 180 amp CO2 MIG, a miller dynasty 250dx and then a denyo 280 amp diesel genset welder. depends upon what I need to weld stainless or aluminum with presicion I tend towards the miller. for stain/steel/aluminum with a spool I go with the national. for thick plate i let the genset welder take the abuse.

Well i brough the regulator in the house last nigjt and just took out and hooked back up and the ball popped up like normal. Maybe some moisture had it stuck down?

seen them freeze in the winter with too much moisture...this time of the year its rather strange .....unless you are running a lot of very dirty CO2 through one.
