You can try flipping the reed as long as it’s symmetrical. I have done that on some echo’s.

Take the reed off and clean the block. Over time some crap can build up between the reed and the block. It's hard to see with the reed in place.
I've flipped 2300 reeds as well.

The fuel wetting the reed will fill the .010 gap and let it seal. If the petals are not warped and the gap is enough to affect performance then you can very carefully resurface the entire contact area including beyond the screw holes. I should warn you...it's a challenging task.
