Lol its hilarious everyone wants to jump ship after one saw carbons on RA @ 50 to 1? Lol!! I wouldnt consider running any ported saw @ 50 to 1 with any oil myself. Hsells saw look pretty darn good on RA as all mine ran on it look the same. Heres my 346 ran at almost 15000 rpm at 40 to 1

That 346 was ran on the old formula RA. Not sure about this new stuff. Lately Ive been running Klotz KL200 and Dolmar Synthetic in everything at 40 to 1 but havent taken any of my saws down to look at any of them.

Ive never taken one of my saws apart that was carboned badly on RA. I had to run the piss out of the 346 to get it to half carbon like in the pictures. I have seen some photos of saws ran on RA at 50 to 1 in a logging enviroment allday for a year and they look like Redbulls pics. Take all that for what its worth fellows but nothing Ive taken apart look like the 661 pics

When I went to Scott's gtg last fall, you got me a quart of 7000 to try. I noticed that, with this oil, it's difficult to see a transfer wash pattern, even after a couple tanks of fuel. So far, it's cleaner than FD rated Citgo sea and snow, Saber, And Red Armor. Its the cleanest burning oil I've ever used

Julian whats the crown look like? The chamber really doesnt look bad to meNormally I would just put this in the oil thread but since there is so much love for RA. Here goes...
661 after 15ish gallons of gas mixed 32:1 with Red Armor.
Maybe this stuff is really only meant to be run at a higher ratio? Have not seen this with the likes of 2R, HP2, or Schaeffers 7k or 9k.

What Im trying to figure out is why folks think there isnt suppose to be carbon on the piston crown or chamber? The problem area will be the rings and lands. Notice the ring in this pic
