According to the saber ratio, you can run 80:1 with no problem..Run saber at 40:1 myself, zero problems.
@tree monkey said it best - reason to run 32:1 isn't for the oil between the jug and piston. It's for the bearings.
I've tested Amsoil Saber - ran 32:1 amsoil saber for 3 gallons on a brand new 661. (there is dirko because I gasket deleted it right out of the box) Here are those pictures. Notice the build up on the EX skirt?
Gotta be the stihls.
I run amsoil at 32:1. Talked to a rep about 80:1 and 100:1 and his reply was I could live the rest of my life like a king for the $'s spent by research to make such a claim! My best friend is an amsoil fanatic. He has an 026 that's only ever had 100:1 amsoil. It's gone though at least 4 bars and the piston looks new. Mine still get it at 40:1.
The whole family runs 100:1 in all their sleds and quads. No issues and they run them hard.
I'm not actually advocating that... Just saying because this is the new oil thread.
Might be fine if it's run in a rich condition, lean it out to the edge....My best friend is an amsoil fanatic. He has an 026 that's only ever had 100:1 amsoil. It's gone though at least 4 bars and the piston looks new. Mine still get it at 40:1.

@tree monkey been using schaeffer 7000 for 20 years with out a problem in every 2 stroke he owns. He only runs it 32:1.
as you guys know I've a lot of take downs. I can not find an oil cleaner burning.
Normally I would just put this in the oil thread but since there is so much love for RA. Here goes...
661 after 15ish gallons of gas mixed 32:1 with Red Armor.
Maybe this stuff is really only meant to be run at a higher ratio? Have not seen this with the likes of 2R, HP2, or Schaeffers 7k or 9k.
