It is very common on maple. As in usually. I’d say it’s common on the red oak too. If the branch gets big enough it’ll start getting the gnarly bark

Is there a difference between Beechnut tree and a Bitternut Tree? One in the same? Two different species?
They both seem to grow baseball sized Green type fruit that contains some sort of nut inside.
Both seem to have the same type of leaf structure.

Beech is actually in the oak family.

A friend of mine sent me this, says it's white oak.
I burn more locust, hedge, and hickory.
Yet this is free and within 20 min from the house.
These are the best pics.
Any ideas???
Pit-Bulls hopefully will be put up...else I'm out...don't have good track record with em!
