Most run 66’s or 394/5’s but at a good sized race meet a couple weeks back I found they had fun keeping up with my 064.

Got me thinking if bigger is really always better in small timber with a short bar
Just about the time you think you've gone up against real race saws is when someone shows up with a freak show and takes everyone's money.

Yeah it’s all fairly well restricted here.
Visual standard class must have all covers and plastics fitted and unmodified. Porting is allowed but crank, piston and cylinder must be from saws of the same class size.
Then there is unlimited production class which is the same but allows modifications to plastics and covers and use of pipes.
No 2 piece heads or external boost ports allowed.
Anything outside of that gets lumped in open hotsaw class which is anything with an internal combustion engine

I'm talking about the same realm of racing as you are with classes and restrictions.
