Saddest p/c I’ve seen...not worst, just sad

I picked up this (288!) as a parts saw...previous owner was 180* away from happiness

I had 2 54cc come in like that almost back to back. I was starting to wonder.
Both saws came from the south if I remember right.

Broke this guy out to snap a couple photos. Need to get it cleaned up, check fuel lines, find a few fasteners, and get it in some wood. Better get a bar for it too...lol.

Let us know how that compression relief slot works on that 288! Should be good enough to reduce it for starting, but not large enough to kill performance at full RPM.

Doing good Mike. Had about enough of winter though. It's hanging around like ex in-laws used to.

Looking forward the GTG. Will have something new to run, and my annual "white and orange saw".

Not on bench but in driveway , in front of Shop. My old riding mower deck finally decided to reject its spindle bearings, but they are the rebuildable type. So shouldn’t be too bad
