I know, dumb question...

Fried corn? I'm guessing sauteed in butter? It looks mighty fine, and I want to try it!

Yep.
We caramelize a small/medium onion then add corn and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until you get it where you like it. If it starts to dry out, add more butter. Mine generally takes about a half hour. My wife likes it cooked more but I think that just makes it tough.

Currently no indoor plumbing due to a flood rendering my septic useless and most likely leeching into my old shallow well. So tonight was a bowl of chicken dumpling soup from my local watering hole. It was home made and pretty good. But, I might have had 6 or 7 beers before I ate it! Sorry no pictures :)

Chicken and gravy over rice. Brussel sprouts, pintos (sorry the gravy overtook some of them :D) and some mac-n-cheese. Sorry I do like some food with my black pepper.
Yep it was good.

Sirloin I cut into strips then sauteed with shrooms, onions, green pepper, and garlic. White rice on the side!
