Your going to give Buckin a run for his money lol.

Yeah ole Buckin he’s been putting some axes out lately but I try too keep a different style to him , and over here our government puts the screws on import tax and customs fees so it puts paid too people buying 1 axe and shipping it over so I just get a job lot and fit them up with a crappy ole piece of wood and offer people a ready done axe within 2 working days cos there so impatient nowadays

I was wondering how you guys are storing your axes ???
I was watching a Hoffman video and he mentioned hanging them by the hole in the handle is how they should be stored. Thinking I need to get busy and start getting mine hung up !

I store mine with head down, handle up resting on a 2x6 piece of wood. Leaning up against a wall.
But maybe I should hang them by the lanyard type hole? [emoji848]

Only other way I hung up Axes and mauls were by banging nails into wall then fitting handle through the nails so nails would catch the head. Handle down towards ground.
I gotta try hanging by the hole in the handle.

he did not mention that I recall.... I can only assume to keep the handle straight ?? I have a 60's something Collins in the garage right now that appears to have never touched a piece of wood including the original sticker on the head as well as the handle, and the handle is as crooked as a dogs hind leg, again I'm assuming from being stored leaning against something. I could be all wrong here with my redneck logic ??

Well we must think alike lol. I have a plumb with the original handle, and it's crooked as a dogs hind leg as well.
