The latest IPL updates for the 550, 560 and 562xp.

It all is about a change from Allen to Torx head screws (T27 and T20 apparently).

I would say so, as some months ago, I ordered new starter screws for a 272xp and they showed up with T27 heads.

I'm not surprised, as the 272xp is a current production model (in Brazil).
Also, I believe that many older part numbers of screws/bolts are likely to be superseded into new torx head numbers in the Husky part ordering system, at least when the same basic screw/bolt still is in use on some current model?

I would agree with that assessment, I can't see Husqvarna keeping two of the same size fastener in stock to be stylish.

Unfortunately I can no longer remember the country of origin on the tag on the bag of screws received.
Other than to say that generally speaking most things 272xp do come from Brazil now, while some parts still come from all over Europe, these could be old stock or are still being made there.

I ordered and received with Husqvarna tags American made parts for a 1970's Poulan that were stored and tagged from China. So kinda hard to tell what goes on and where.

Side note: My brain had a very hard time turning the Stihl branded wrench to tighten those screws. Husqvarna needs to add a new wrench to their lineup. Lol

Found an extra set in my bolt box.

At least they're not silver color.

I believe they have, and at least one model is listed in those IPLs?

Anyway, I do have some Torx wrenches and bits that aren't branded by any chainsaw brand, so they can be used on any saw they fit....

Time to start posting 572xp IPLs as well, as the saws are out at least on some markets.

I have never seen one. That doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't exist, but usually Husky only issues one WS manual per model (usually early in production), and changes are supposed to be covered by the Service Bulletins (that at this point has become part of the IPLs, but wasn't when the 346 NE appeared. Back then they were supposed to be for dealers only, as were (and still is) the WS manuals).
