Hello fellas,
Got my ms660 kit ordered now getting the extra items I need to improve on right away coming to. I have bad elbows back ect so want a Decomp to make starting a bit easier. I was going to get a husky valve. Oem 20.00 but I see the brand Sten for around $10.00. Is the Sten valves ok to use? And will the 3120 or 395 valve fit fine? Thanks

While getting mine tuned , the rubber top ket popping off of mine. I removed it and put some epoxy in it held it together in my vise. Haven’t had an issue since. Been about 7 tanks through it.

I'm not positive, but from looking at pics, I do not know if a 3120 fits. It looked like the threads were too long.

That said, I have heard the Husky decamps are the ones to use, maybe just not that one.

I too put some Loctite PL Premium on the top of the decomp (that came with the kit) when the top fell off, and have not had any further problems with it. Also have 2 newer ones and the cap has stayed on both of them.

I figure as long as the top stays on, it can't fall into the saw.

Thanks fellas. I got a husky one. Lots of reading around finally found the part number for the correct one. Good to know about the stock one. I will have a spare then.
