Finally got time to work on my PS 9000. I knew it had bearing problems after I bought it a couple months ago. Well I have found that the crank was spinning in the bearing on the flywheel side, new bearing should fix that. Well not sure what to do on the pto side as the bearing has spun in the case. There is a little resistance putting the bearing in once in the pocket it moves all around. I was thinking of using bearing and sleeve retainer, Permatex #64000. But I have read on here about other products that may work better. @Chainsaw Jim. The bearing measures 1.575, the pocket measures 1.584 from front to back and 1.577 top to bottom. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a pic of the bearing pushed toward the oil tank you can see the gap toward where the fuel tank would be.IMG_0812.JPG

I JB welded my 044 that had the exact same thing. Has done at least 10 tanks since and no probs. I wasn't worried if it failed, was more of a test than anything, but it is good as new.

I'm with srcarr52, it's egged out a little too far.
I just learned what I know about different loctite products...like two weeks ago. Giving any advise on the subject, in front of the ones who helped guide me in the right direction, would make me feel like I was a wannabe. Lol

@srcarr52 would you be interested in boring it and sleeving it for me?
@Chainsaw Jim thank you for you honesty.

Is there a step in the bearing bore or is a straight through? If it's straight through I can clamp it to the mill table using the gasket surface, if it's got a step I have to setup off the other side which takes more fixturing and is a bit of a pain.

Here's one I have. It's got a few scratches and dusty.
