Sorry Kyle, my bad, stupid computers, can't believe I work with them all day long!

Here's the clip added by me, actually checking that the link is valid.

So if you've not died of boredom yet, you'll have to transpose all the mumbo-jumbo I wrote earlier onto this one :)

Your nearly in milling territory with that saws torque.

Unless you modify the oiler, anything over a 24” on stock 044/440 oiler is asking for long term trouble.
However...and I’ve never tried this....some say running 0.063 will increase the oiling capabilities a small percentage.

Arnt most Stihl bars .063?

No
It’s a regional thing
The northeast here is mostly 0.050, whereas the Pacific Northwest is mainly 0.063.
I’ve never seen an 0.063 - 3/8 bar on the wall at any local dealership I’ve been to.
The only 0.063 you see here is .325 oddly enough.
Now this doesn’t mean a person couldn’t order one, just not common here.

That’s strange every Stihl chain or bar I’ve seen in the uk are .063. Learn something new every day.

You need to find some decent wood, and maybe learn to tilt that camera into landscape mode. ;)

Yo Wesley......

  1. Fly to my place with some decent wood for me
  2. Give me 350 notes for my 064 while you're here
  3. Teach me a trick or two with my kids hand-me-down phone. I'm as good with phones as you are with computer programming

I think it is a mostly east of the Rockies thing. Europe is getting a little bit of .050 coming in but not much.

1. I think you should start a firewood business and quit the programming gig, this computer fad is on the way out anyways.
2. Good price.
3. LOL

They are here and the UK. When I was in the PNW, I mostly saw .050. Maybe for lighter chains on longer bars?
I do notice my old MMWS 044 oiled pretty well, but I think my 10mm 044 does OK up to 24". If you go to rapeseed oil, or cut it with some, it helps a bit especially when it's cold out.

I'd rather put you to work in the timber at my old haunting grounds!

350 is very tempting, but dunno how I would attach it to my scooter for the ride back.

Here's one of the first pieces of wood the MMWS 044 was thrown at:

I think this monster is still mostly laying intact in the far field over the bridge at the Waterford estate:

Shall I schedule you for this weekend?

And this sort of stuff drove me to acquire and port my 281xp:

Wish I could. 25+ years of this programming sh!t drives me nuts. Usual story, seemed like a lark when I started........now it's just a gravy train.....

I guess the saw would be just fine.........but would your Harley even make it to collect??

Sorry man, couldn't resist that one!

Wouldn't hurt the looks to have a saw attached. Might give tail-gaiters on BMW's sumfin to think about.
