We're still here, is the Girl gonna make the prom?

No, she sure isn't, and don't take that as a bad thing either, rather quite the opposite really. After going to my first GTG at TM's I realized it wasn't so much about the saw winning as it was competing. So if I can't go and have fun myself(which I really can't) then I see no sense sending a saw down there for someone else to run for me. This fall seems busier for some reason and the one less thing on my plate is welcome as well. The saw will still be completed and be a play saw for me, I will still post progress as it happens.

Thanks for the response, I think we all understand where you are coming from.

Good luck with work and the saw, and we look forward to future updates.

I just got 2 more yesterday, both w/Cross P&C. I'm so glad they did it again.

The Flying Tiger is wearing a 36" bar and is still running well.

Hey, if the gas cap leaks, just get a tight fitting rubber O ring at an auto parts store, they seem to be working well.

Also, if you plan on serious RPMs, I would use an OEM wrist pin (in addition to OEM pin bearing). They are lighter and will vibrate less.

Why not just lighten the AM pin instead of buying another one?

If the gas cap leaks on me I'll probably loose my mind. Lol
No OEM parts in this build, AM substitution is OK. Trying to see what holds up and what doesn't. Look at how heavy pistons are in new saw's and how much faster than the old saw's...
