The faller and terrain looks like NZ but I'm not sure. The picture filename says Soper Wheeler Company, and they are California based. They did start buying land and planting redwoods here in NZ about 20 years ago under their NZ company The NZ Redwood Company so perhaps in another 20 or more years they'll be actually logging them here? I think they help existing redwood forest owners here also so maybe those pics are of them dropping someone else's trees here?

Found some pictures of my family. 1950's

My great aunt. My grand father took this picture of his little sister. He thinks that the saw was a disston. Their father was a Faller for about 15 years while they were kids.
