LOL. Just leave earlier.
Are speeding tickets tax deductible? [emoji848]

You should come to the GTG, set up a table, and do taxes for the fellers! ;)

1) If I go to a GTG it will not be to do taxes

2) I don't think I can handle much more business

3) I don't need to travel that far to do taxes

Often, when dealing with clients, you are leaving later, not earlier. And if you do get ahead of schedule, no one is ready when you arrive early, so your hope is to stay close to on schedule, you will never stay ahead.

I have not been pulled over in over 10 years! The radar detector helps, don't leave home w/o it. (Mine is hard wired to come on when I start the car).

So now that I have courtesy cards from my Step Son, next door neighbor and several clients, I don't get pulled over any more ... go figure! In the past, after watching me in court, I had a lawyer ask me how he should handle his client's ticket!

When I worked for the State, I did over 36,000 miles per year for over 20 years. Now it is down to about 15,000 per year, and most of it is local. A lot less exposure.

I'm definitely in on Dan's GTG. I'll take Friday off and come down and help out however I can w/ prep.

As I mentioned in the NY Thread I'd love the live stream again on Youtube Live w/ a new setup I have that is way better than last time.

This is crazy -- it's like just over 2 months away. I just don't think about GTG weather in the dead of winter like this!
I did make the klondike GTG cuttin firewood for Dan. That was a blast and I got some exercise cuttin, splittin, and moving wood. I need more especially w/ the winter months!

Of course I'll be attending barring unforeseen circumstances.

Need to put together something(s) new for the occasion.
I finally got enough stuff together for a 385, I think...

Are there any competitive themes emerging? What's everyone else gonna be brewing up?
262's revisited? Hybrids? Must be a few of those chicom 660's attending...

Sorry I didn't make the frostbite gathering but was just too short notice to weedle out of previous plans.

Al, really love the food but definitely scale it back a bit and relax/have fun.
I froze some of the leftovers from the last extravaganza and was still eating some not long ago. Good stuff!

Mike, guess I'll see you at the ny gtg.
Radar is ok for the locals occasionally, not a lot of good around here for the much more common traps with lidar.
Waze is the way to go these days, particularity on the highways, though neither is much good for the roving cruisers
that clock you as most of the state boys here have been doing.
Eyeballs/paying attention are the only defense there. Thankfully 80 seems to be the new 65...

Deets, I'm a 4/5 also...
Not sending my picture though...:nono::)

Just got in from plowing the cement on my driveway -- ridiculous frozen rain on top of heavy wet snow... freezing cold.
I am READY for a nice day and a saw GTG. Fingers crossed for good weather and not too much mud April 7th!

I am DONE with winter and it's only early February.

Was going to try to get a 385 together, now looks like I should probably do up a 346.
That's the easy way out anyway.
Nothing too far out there though, I still wanna be able to use it in the woods.
One of these days I'll get a pipe together...

I'm in! I'll bump this thread seeing as how I posted in the one from last year (oops).

Currently I have a stock 461, 251, and an 025 with a pipe. Where does the wood come from? Do I need to bring logs?

Sweet man. There should be several new faces this time. Dan will get the logs locally, but if you have an easy way to bring some that would be fine I'm sure! To date only square cants for heads up racing and dollar races have been hauled in :)
