I've often found it takes me ages to find a previous post of interest. Likewise sometimes another user throws up a part number or link I could do with remembering for later.

On AS I used to just add this thread to my watched thread list, but then that list became unwieldy.

I think it would be cool to have a small area (another tab on each user's profile/personal details) where you could put (and later find) this kind of thing. I say a small area because obviously the site owner's will need to review the space needed for hosting etc.

Perhaps a "bookmark this post" (or something?) on each post would be the way to implement this? Just in tiny icon on the post (e.g. near the the like/quote/reply buttons) would possibly work. You could just click on any post you want to find later, and it goes on your bookmarked posts list. When you exceed the quota of these bookmarks you get an error/warning message.

In my opinion this would be great, if there's a build thread you find, which goes for a lot of pages, has some good tech info, and a lot of bantering in between (which is also good - but not something you want to read again if searching for a link/PN/tip etc.)

Is there way to use this feature in Tapatalk?

I just do the forum on my PC, my friend. So I don't I know about Tapatalk.

However just test it out like so:

1. Find a post you want a future reference to, and click the link called "Bookmark", this is just to the right of "Report"
2. Then hopefully you'll a box in the foreground saying "Bookmark post". You can give a memorable name right here. Then click submit.
3. Then go to your user detail drop down i.e.

4. And 2 rows up on the right you'll see "Bookmark List". Click this and a new page opens with your bookmarks etc. From you can click on a link to one of the posts you wanted to remember.

give it a try....

(Apologies if you already know how this feature works, and have used it on a PC already!)

The page that you linked explains why that particular forum owner is uninstalling tapatalk. That discontinuation notice applies only for visitors to AndroidForums.com.
Yeah, I didn't mean to be alarmist or nothing. I just kinda got bored at the dayjob and googled for what tapatalk actually is.....and that was basically the first thing that caught my eye.......it's not really my cup of tea, mind you. I write debuggers for mobile phone firmware in the day, and mend chainsaws in the evening. Just a regular kinda of guy really... :)

Why don't mobile users just use the phone supplied browser for the forum, or is that fraught with other issues?
For me the TT interface is cleaner and easier to use on a small screen. It does come at the expense of some advanced features however.
