@Mastermind...Randy, here’s what you want with the bacon-wrapped asparagus in the oven on a broiler pan. Time it right with the temp, don’t burn the tips, a little browing is ok, but the timing is critical to get the bacon done without the tips burnt, but yet the ends of the asparagus just barely turn from opaque. That’s the real deal bacon-wrapped asparagus right there. That’s 5-Star chit!

I’ve said it a hundred times fellas, and you folks know I like the grills and the smokers....if I had life to do over again, I’d a loved to have gone to a fine culinary school. My path simply wasn’t that, it was far from it...but I sure like grilling, smoking, and cooking good meals for folks to eat. I find a peace about myself, with my f’d up past, maybe it’s the speed involved, the constant gotta know where everything is timed, how things are gonna get done at the same time, gears churning, like Hell’s Kitchen...to see folks eat good grub. No matter how you add it or stack it...nothing brings folks together like a damn good meal.

Sometimes I just say *f-word it...eat a damn ham, turkey, bologna sammich, eat a few bowls of cereal, whatever. I get burnt out of cooking at times, but if I don’t do it, ain’t nobody else gonna do it for me. Ain’t quite got the dog trained yet...

Forgot the temps...start them off at 350 for about 20 mins, doesn’t look like anything’s happening, to get the bacon just starting to warm up and the fat opaque. Then crank it to 375 for about 10 mins. Now the bacon is going, and the tips of the asparagus are still green, but watch the ass end if the asparagus, when it goes opaque to green, time for the show to end. Pull ‘em, let ‘em rest uncovered on top of the stove and serve.

Alright boys, I am ready to travel but 3:10am comes pretty damn early.

Y'all be good now, don't do anything I wouldn't do. I'll try and keep am eye on ya even if I don't get much chance to post...
