those 345's is good saws, almost no vibes in them, but its best to unvoid the first years 340/345/350's, them black style seals is super leaky, got a couple low hours 345's (98-99) who failed totally in p&v tests

yup, swap out the partition wall and a metal clamp + impulse hose (i find many old hoses who leak) and you're ready to go.

Husky came with the new seal (brown ones) in 2001 week 25, they also changed the plastic crank case year 01 week 22, there was issues when we torqued the cylinder (wasnt space for the seal rubber I belive), short time later they upgraded the jug and 350's cyl base for the same reason.
And they also upgraded those two small bricks we use on 340/345's with the jug upgrade (those has to be matched)

Your 2005 model has all the upgrades.
