Where the heck did you find not one but two 111’s? :)
Man, if you wanna find big saws you gotta get west of Telluride. ;)

I know a guy. He seems to have a knack for finding big crusty old PNW loggersaws.

Then I bring them to this other guy I know, who seems to have a knack for making them run better than when they were new.

:D

Looks and sounds great Kev. Is it the same cylinder with a ton of epoxy or a different one now?
Different one.
I put Popcorn on the lathe and it took .015" more to square up the base and band. Raised the ports back up to where they were. And filled the lowers with epoxy.

About 1:28 I get back to the same end of the log

So it is the huge voids causing the popcorn... good to know. [emoji12]

I originally thought so when I created that first video. It ran fine that day. Not so sure now.
That style of porting requires less fuel I believe. If I put my ported cylinder on it, it runs fine. If I put Popcorn back on it, it's 4 stroking occasionally in the cut, creating the pop. Either the mtronic won't adjust lean enough or it won't adjust quick enough before I get tired of listening to it. Which has been about a half, 3/4 tank. More mtron parts are on the way

Ok, so the jury is still out. Fair enough. I eagerly await results!!
