Poor pics but hey take it or leave it :p

Grabbed these before heading out. Rings in this kit look good with fine engravings in them like caber rings do. Also told they are ductile iron material high strength high hardness toughness.

We need a super close macro shot of the ring face. Don't *b-word either, do your best, please. That will tell me if they might get used or not.

I like iron.
I like pie.
Now, I hate chainsaws.

I think it will work as a drop in as is. No needing to cut the base.

I am not the most accurate person and I do not have super pricey digital calibers but this is what I got.

compared to meteor stock 066 piston. (IIIII)

pop up around measuring across 33.30mm

bore 53.96 (53.96)

height to squish outer 42.85mm (43mm) and to top of pop up 43.75

pin top to top of pop up 17.60 (17mm)

As a clarification ductile iron or nodular is about the toughest cast iron made .When turned it produces a semi chip, not powder like most cast iron .Ford iron blocks and crankshafts were made of this stuff when they made iron engines .The crankshafts still are ,no more iron engines .Now you all might be GM fans but nobody made a tougher block than FOMOCO .The only way to blow a Ford engine was to run it out of oil .Run it out of water it would just seize.Let it cool off it would start but might blow blue smoke for ever after .Nearly impossible to crack a Ford iron block from heat .

Now this here piston .Is it a cut down or a new design with a raised dome? Cut down it will lower the compression unless the cylinder base is cut down .
Some like to argue but the main reason for a domed piston is for better flow over the top of the piston not to raise the compression .I've worked on the machining lines of at least 5 or 6 piston lines for both Ford and Honda and have seen so many designs I've forgotten most of them .But the bottom line is they all do it ,just in different ways .FWIW we used Jahns hemi domed in sprint cars back in the 60's .It's nothing new .

Based on your measurements should be about .006" more squish clearance than Meteor.
So not just a copy of a cut down piston...

I have tested one of these too and they are a drop in fit.
Crown height is the same as stock piston with a raised center section.
Work good too.
Its actually now running in this:

Its holding up to 13500 rpm in the cut just fine

What in the world have you done to that thing me likie I wont one.
