Danarm 55. According to Mike Acres site, virtually identical to the McCulloch 1-10. I have a couple of project to finish up before I get to this one but I will keep you posted.

Must be cold in Iowa, I see you have one saw under a blanket.;) I like the gas cap on that Danarm and that snow shovel looking thing on the front. Tom

It is rather cold outside, but always quite hospitable in the shop. I just like to keep the dust off a few after I've cleaned them up.

Not as good as the 250, different porting and the manual oiler on the tank up front is far from convenient. I'm not even sure they have all three exhaust ports open on those models.

Depending on what they did (or didn't) do to disable the Lubri-Mac system using the manual oiler might force some bar oil back into the crank case.

Nice find Mark! I have always wanted one of those. Almost had a deal made a few years ago but the seller backed out. I think that may have been an early try at reverse engineering the 1-10 for it looks McCulloch but so many little differences.

Look at how far the carb is shoved towards the fuel tank for the cover stud to be mounted to the airbox floor instead of the carb. There is also no spacer under the carb.

The air filter is flat by the rear handle instead of being pent roofed like a Mac. The throttle linkage also not "hidden" by the casting like a Mac. The extended top air filter cover is neat looking to accommodate the SDC?

The bottom handle brace is curved instead of bent obtuse.

Very cool though. I've often thought about painting a 2-10 or similar these colors but you can't make something it isn't!
