Don't worry. Stihl will eventually improve there design, just like they did with the spring AV. Husqvarna does there R&D for them.

There are things I like about each brand, I totally agree on the stihl flip caps @Cracker Boy @RI Chevy . They just suck. I think dolmar had the best av system, but husky is good too. I feel like the rubber mounts translate a lot of vibration.

Regardless, I'm really excited to see and hear more about the MS500I. Either it will be evolutionary or revolutionary and either is fine by me!

What saws are getting screw caps that Stihl makes? I have a screw cap on my Ht 131 but its just on the power head.
