Ok so I have to share the funniest story evAr.
Today I called Al to discuss some particulars for a future chainsaw build. Among other topics, we talked about an 024 Super with an 026 cylinder/Piston. He explained that, in order to fit the 026 parts, there was some trimming to be done.
"Cut the fins with a bandsaw, then sand them on the belt sander" he said...
"Did. You. Just. Tell. Me. To. Sand. The. Cylinder. With. A. Belt. Sander???"
Laughter was had by all. Holy *s-word, funny stuff.
I got to run the saw last week. All I can say is 'wow!' It's absolutely perfect. I look forward to future chainsaw transactions with Al.
