Still trying to figure out if Nancy will feel well enough to come by then. She has had a heck of a this past eight months. Never feeling quite right, I'm afraid I won't know till Friday night. I don't feel qualified to bring Emerson if it's just me...

How old is Emerson? Is he your son or grandson?

And a good morning! It is amazing to me that maintaining a house at 74˚ inside when it's in the 60s outside requires the AC unit kicking on throughout the night. I do not understand this. My skinny carcass does not generate that much heat, I guarantee it.

Having lunch with a buddy from high school today, known him since we were in sixth grade. Many of our classmates have fallen off the perch, so to speak, the 70s lifestyle appears to be taking its toll. So we'll be looking forward to the future, making plans with what life force we've got left. Should be a good time. Then I go meet with an attorney to discuss the nuances of starting one's own business. Maybe I could cut people's wedding cakes for them...

Have a good, safe, productive day.

He is three. Very funny. I was getting my blood drawn for a physical a couple of years ago, and I had the Primate with me in his little car seat thingy, and the guy looked at him, looked at me, then asked Emerson, "hanging out with grandpa today?" I was nice to him, though. He did a good job drawing blood, so I went easy on him. I asked him, "So how long have you been clean?" You know a former junkie can always find a vein....

He is my one and only. He gets his first Stihl this evening.

LOL, my sons get asked the same thing when they are with me, "hanging out with grandpa?".

Anyhow, there should be plenty of help there (with Emerson) on Saturday if you should need it.

When we got Sarah I was 34 and Barb was 38. We were often mistaken for her grandparents. More so when we got Michael three years later.

Senior citizen parents we were/are.

Well, go figure. I bought this as a future project but instead of putting it away, I replaced the broken plug and gassed it.

And then I work for DAYS on the same saw with no good results.[emoji53]

Just now setting pods. They'll keep making more till end of September, but they won't fill near as fast without temps near 90 and evenings over 60. 59 degree nights sorta keeps everything in slow motion.

Hook it up to something.[emoji848]

Amish would have it running a table saw.[emoji106]
