A few pics. of some old iron still in use. Spent many hours on my ( baby ) the 1855 since 1978. My father bought the ford 2n new in 1946, I still use it today. He bolted blocks on the clutch and brake peddles so I could drive it around 1964. 7 years old at the time. He got a plow, 2 row cultivator, and a scrapper blade with it for $900.00 when he got out of the army back then. ( That will never be again! ) LOL

I had a 580 B it was like the rusty Yugo of backhoes...
The rest of em are great, but that one....

I refer to 580's as the 911 of backhoes because if you keep at it long enough you can make anything good eventually.

You can breed pigs for speed. And end up with a very fast........
...pig.

Mine had already been made good and ruined multiple times in its life before it came my way, at that point it just became one of my first lessons in, You Get What You Pay For!!! As far as this Pig Racing goes it sounds very appealing, is it hard to get the saddle on them.... As for a 911 I don't know seems more likely a 914.....

Need to make up the plate to convert the skidsteer to a universal quick tach. Then I can make or buy forks to move logs around which should make slabbing much easier. Maybe even build myself a band mill or slabbing mill now that I have a way to carry logs and large slabs easily.

Well, you see what I've got in my avatar. 1955 Ferguson TO-35 with Continental z-134 gasser. The previous owner applied the later MF-35 paint and decals, original scheme was gray sheet metal with green castings and chrome script "Ferguson 35" badges on the hood. Implements I have include a 6 foot Bush Hog finish mower, Frontier 5 foot blade, beat to death off brand 5 foot bush hog, and Dearborn 2 bottom plow that my grandfather bought with his Ford 8N back in the day.

IH man here! Grew up on old narrow front Letter series tractors in the hills of PA. So of course when I got old enough I had to get my own. 48 H in the picture with an old wooden bearing 8’ disc on it. F9FBC469-07AD-4BC2-A88A-658BD168A5AD.jpegI’ll have to dig up more pics of the rest, but there’s also the 48 Cub, 53 Super A, 52 Super C, 45 M, 48 WD6 ( gas to diesel a work in progress) 37 Centaur KV that was my great grampas and a future restoration project for me and my boys I got from a long Time family neighbor 1939 Oliver 70.
Almost forgot the one I try not to let people know I have:smash2: 1944 JD A. It does see daylight on occasion, just when I know no ones watching.
