That's for the new style press fit bars Jeff. You chill the studs, heat the bar, then press it on. Then you peen the top of the stud to secure. Stays on forever. Best new idea I've seen in a long time. Those new bars are made out of unobtainium, so the saw will wear out long before the bar. Just make sure you know what length bar you want.I ordered a package of AM bar nuts from Huz/l. Pretty simple I thought. They eventually showed up. I looked at the package, then checked my ebay order. I received bar studs, not bar nuts. So I looked through the package and something looked amiss. Not sure how these will work. Lol

That's a pretty good idea. When did they make the switch? Who sells those bars? That's for the new style press fit bars Jeff. You chill the studs, heat the bar, then press it on. Mattyo makes a press for the bars. No need to heat them anymoreThat's for the new style press fit bars Jeff. You chill the studs, heat the bar, then press it on. funny as hell thoughThreadkiller ^
The official change hasn't been done yet. They're sneaking in one new style bar stud at a time. Just enough to make us curious. Those guys at Farmertec have noticed that we're byuing a whole bunch of their clone saws, so their agenda is that they want us to buy a new saw for each bar we have. Those are my thoughts on it.That's a pretty good idea. When did they make the switch? Who sells those bars?
Lol. Yup.
If you pay in peanuts, you get monkeys to do the work.
