Subs and Tahoes with the air suspension are a force to be reckoned with. A suburban will pull better than a 1/2 ton pickup just because of its weight.

The air parts are a bit pricey to replace when they fail tough

Yup. Our 04 Suburban has the air suspension in the rear. It is lovely.

Mastercraft (USA made Cooper's) mxt's on both

Anyone run Toyo Open Country MT's or Nitto Terra Grapplers in the white stuff? I've been running the Open Country MT's on my Mega-Cab for a few yrs now. Both the Toyos and Nittos mentioned above are a helluva tire in the mud, just not sure how well that heavy of a lug/tread pattern would work in the white stuff. I run 295-70r-17's on the Mega-Cab. Both the Toyos and Nittos are pricey as hell though.

Terra grapplers are OK for snow. Toyos are OK in deep snow on a jeep, but not on the road

51000 on the factory BFGs on mine. Got cooper ST Maxx on now, will see

From what I've seen, coopers could possibly be the best bang for the buck out there. I don't have much experience with longevity, as my son's are brand new, but the price was sure right

Cooper is one of the last American made and American owned tire company's left. Back when everything turned to crap, and other company's were closing plants and laying off workers, Cooper invested in a major overhaul of their products to make them ahead of the rest of the market. My last pair were Coopers and were over 30 years old. Also make sure when buying tires that they are LT tires and not P rated tires.

I absolutely love these tires, traction, quiet and tough.

I had a set of terra grapplers. Excellant in both mud an snow. Absolute worst tread life of any tire I have ever had. Iirc I only got 12k out of those tires.

I had a few sets of Cooper Discoverers many years ago...on a S-10 4x4 pickup and two 4x4 International Scout II's. They were damn good tires as far as mileage and wear went.

I've had 3 sets of Terra grapplers and I've been happy with them. They're great in the snow until they get below half tread. Usually get 25-30 K out of them unless I'm doing a lot of hauling. I destroyed one set hauling gravel a couple summers ago.

A 6 year old and a 4 year old are raking the yard.

The 6 year old asks, "You know what? I think it's about time we started learning to cuss."

The 4 year old nods his head in approval.

The 6 year old continues,"When we go in for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with hell and you say something with ass."

The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.

When the mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios.

WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step.

His mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can stay there until I let you out!"

She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?"

"I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your fat ass it won't be Cheerios!"

I had an 08 Tundra double cab 4x4 with the 5.7 and 4.10's. They're stout, more than enough to pull a camper 10-15 miles.

I prefer the Suburban over the truck myself.

Lisa wants a truck, but I think a full size SUV would be more practical. We really don't have much use for a truck.

My first car was a Mustang with a 5.0. It needed new tires soon after I bought it, I put a set of Coopers on it.

For some strange reason I only got a little over 1000 miles on the rears:D

Yea, dad just shook his head when I had to put a new set of rear tires on that thing a month later:facepalm:
