Really Not sure that's the only name stamped on the whole saw terry had seen another that had the same stamp don't know if it was just the bearings or whole machines make he's taking the blade to paint it and i will get the rest.

It is incredibly well shaped and weighed for my application.
I keep trying other axes and mauls but none come close to this one - I can't imagine having to split firewood with any of my other axes!

I have now started asking around for a blacksmith that would be willing to copy/replicate my ax - so far unsuccessfully, but I am not giving up.
This ax works wonders in oak and beech and feels best with a 40" wooden handle.
It splits knot free oak like glass shatters falling onto concrete from up high, have to UP a few clips to the Tube and post them.

Those big leafs axes are very similar to the axes from fuxtec I got a couple of sets too sell on a couple of years ago and like you got the extra ones too make the shipping a better price
Your favourite axe is it classed as a bearded axe I've had a few axe heads from France that have that wide triangle handle fitting and the tradition handle wasn't wide enough

I indeed have trouble finding a suitable replacement handle for this ax, that is why I have reseated the old one which was purchased from a woodcarver on the weekly towns market years ago.
That particular woodcarver doesn't seem to do business anymore, or at least doesn't bring his products to the market - I keep looking for him but can't seem to find him.
I'll have to get a replacement handle made so I have a spare, the ones from various stores are way too narrow and only 32" long.

That one and most of my other clips are recorded with my non-smart phone Sony Ericsson Elm/J10i2, it has an amazingly true audio sound and fairly good video quality.
Those bang like sounds are from the rounds giving in when the ax blade hits them, the bang is slightly amplified by the echo from the house's vicinity.

I own a JVC Adixxion GC-XA1BE HD action camera, it is recording the crappiest sound of all phones (3),cameras (3) and camcorders (3) that I have - I am utterly disappointed with its performance.
What is the point of 60fps HD picture quality if the sound is distorted and untrue.
I don't know what to do with it as I will never be able to recover what I have in it and the accessories that I already purchased for it if I try to sell it - I'll just have to write it off as a loss.

While splitting very knotty beech rounds at my neighbors firewood pile today I cracked my ax's handle - poop!

The handle started to split partially from the ax head back.
I'll try and first aid it by tightly binding some wire around the cracked part tomorrow, but I now have to actively look for a replacement because this handle will not sustain too many forceful blows before it gives in completely.

It was already getting dark so I didn't take any pictures of the beech rounds (cut to 14_16" length) nor the damaged handle.
I'll try remember taking some pictures tomorrow.
