I don't have a good relationship with this saw, and work is a bit slow this winter so this has to go find it's new owner. Yes this is the saw from the thread. My first time running it she blew a wrist pin bearing. Tree Monkey (Scott) went above and beyond, fixed the saw for free and shipped it back on his dime. I noticed he put a brand new HD filter on it too.

It has a 288 piston (single ring) and high output oiler. Also has the aluminum bottom plate. Where do you get those anyway?

Compression is currently 190 PSI. Scott put 2 tanks through it, I put 1 more.

With that much compression, the compression release was useless, it would just pop shut. I put a husqvarna compression release on and it helped some but it still is just better to not use it. If I were keeping it, I would just plug it up. I'll include the black button Stihl release when it ships.

Selling PHO paypal friends and family $775 shipped to lower 48.20170120_191827.jpg 20170120_191845.jpg 20170120_191937.jpg 20161111_152101.jpg

Nice saw! 190 shouldn't be too much for the compression release I would think. I have a saw blowing 220-230 and the release works good, but it's mounted on the side not the top.

The hole on the husqvarna valve is bigger than the stihl valve. My thinking is that gives it a higher threshold for compression before popping shut. Perhaps there's another size valve out there with a hole that's even bigger and would work better.

Half the time it'll stay open, but the other half of the time that sucker pops shut halfway through a drop strart and produces many cuss words. I found it better to just practice my big boy drop starts without the valve.

I put a stock flywheel key in it to aid in starting, I'll include the original key which has about half shaved off for timing advance. This is really just more saw than I need and if I keep it I'm afraid it'll just sit.

Any interest in $775 shipped to the lower 48?

Nice to see you over on the OPE, pull up a chair and stay for a while friend! Lots of good folks here.

Drop me a note when the saw arrives safe and sound. They predict wednesday.

She got here this week.
She's beautiful.

Took her to a shop and tuned it with their tach.
Checks out nice.! Sounds freaking great.
Soo great.

Got a nice removal this weekend to try her out on.
Can't wait!

I'm waiting for the 36" tsumura bar for the sexy sexy photos.

I hope it goes without saying that Huskytime has been a pleasure from top to bottom.

Thanks huskytime!

By the way treeMonkey has been a freaking gentleman and a scholar to work with.

As have huskytime and Ryan up at marten's on 76th st.

An absolute pleasure all around.

She now is set up to Scott's original build.
Really looking forward to getting this saw on fsu mode.
