    SOLD 372xp

Hi Gav, the second hand market over with you seems to be more expensive than over in uk, maybe it's just the places I been looking but the world is going crazy and in some cases used cost more than new.🤔

    Rivet nut tool?

I got a decent one from amazon, came as a kit with a good range of sizes and mandrels and it was pretty cheap but not rubbish. Its paid for itself over and over. Dont go by reviews they are like you said all over the place. If you dont like it you can return it, simple 👍

    Need Help, 500i issues

With that much money tied up in saws that wont run I would be onto Stihl and asking for at least a rep to be sent out urgently. They can do it and should if they want to keep their good name.

Ok to add motor oil to bar chain oil?

I have two sharpeners, one cheap China copy that is branded by many names, it works and does a job so ok for diy (never use it & only got to see what finish it would give). The other is an older Oregon with forward & reverse switch which does a very good job, but you need to put the right size...

Ok to add motor oil to bar chain oil?

I'm sure i posted this before, a local chainsaw dealer who supplied a lot to forestry sold their own bar oil. I was there once when a delivery turned up. I used his oil by the gallon and never any problem and so did hundreds of others. it was a big drum of ep90 and much cheaper than other...

Found 4 new huskys in back of warehouse

That's a nice little find, getting down isnt the problem, it's getting back up 🤦‍♂️

    Another interesting eBay story….

Sadly it's the way things are going. Here in uk banks have been closing branches under the excuse they are not used yet they are always busy. They want to do away with cash and it will happen!! Then when every transaction is online we will be in a sorry state. I had a similar experience when...

    Internet Used Saw Prices

you often see saws on ebay (uk) for crazy prices, old 1980's saws going for double what they cost new and some not even working. Even if they are "working" you soon find out they are junk. It seems people now have more money than sense, maybe its the covid vax

    3-series huskies

I have a 362xp, lovely handling saw and nice to work with, also run a 550xpg that is very fast cutting and lighter than the 362 also slimmer, its a great saw for felling and clearing being easy to manoeuvre. Some dont like the 550 and wonder if its because its autotune, I must admit I didnt like...

    SOLD Ms260 pro

Thanks everyone for educating me, it seems quite a few things are different over with you for whatever reasons. I see a lot using longer bars where here 18" seems plenty, I been using my 550xpg with 15" bar on everything lately before that it was 18" with a 60+cc saw with trunks up to 24" we...

    SOLD Ms260 pro

Must be honest no I never seen or worked on one, I have seen many botched attempts to "improve" a muffler and at first thought that's what it was, then after I posted I seen the holes were too neat. I live to learn and happy to be corrected 👍 and running with that like it is would throw out...
