Like was mentioned, tank vent is the next thing to check. Does the saw start right back up after it dies, or does it need to sit for a while?

They're definitely a different machine than a 2 stoke. It takes some getting used to. It almost has too much power, but I got the biggest so I didn't end up wanting more power for some attachment down the road.

3hp motor, Emglo L pump. Just got it hooked up yesterday. 13cfm up to 120psi, then 12cfm up to 150psi. I'll keep an eye out for a 5hp, but this is good for now, it's only on a 30 gal tank.
