Going to be a heated handle dolmar 7900 with a solo stroker crank. Putting it together with a 6400 cylinder for now before I wreck a 7900 cylinder.
Need to cut a little more out of the band still too tight even with 2 gaskets
I think I have it figured out thanks for all the help gentlemen! Goes from generator to switch, switch to tank heater, tank heater runs to top handle then top handle harness runs to ground by kill switch. Didn't realize there was 2 different cases for heated saws though so I have the generator...
Does anyone have a diagram of how the wiring goes on a 7900 heated handle saw? Got most of the heated pieces I think just got to figure out how it goes now
I picked up quite a few of these bar tips and I will probably never get around to using even half of them so wanted to pass some along. They are all 3/8 and are the newer style Windsor tips. Thinking they have to be worth $5 each plus actual shipping.
Good thing is you can get the 120si style 1 piece ignitions that work perfect can even get rid of the junk under the flywheel. There is even aftermarket ones now. Brake bands can be found aftermarket now too without the lever but looks like it is still there. Can't believe there is no clutch...
@farminkarman have you ever ported one of these open port cylinders or even run one stock? Wonder how it would run compared to the 45mm cylinder or a aftermarket 346 cylinder
