Fixing hole in tank
I would thread it with an 1/8 inch pipe tap then screw a brass plug in with loctite on it until it tightens up then grind the outside flat.- Shane¹

First time modifying a cylinder
You only want to widen on the cylinder side then blend it to the same shape it currently is at the intake and exhaust ports -

Id suggest it. I like the 350 series the plastic doesn't seem to be an issue unless you let the muffler get loose and fry the case which you can replace it in a couple hours for pretty cheap -

Got the 350 cylinder porting finished and cylinder bolted down today. Got to do the timing advance, muffler mod and see if it will run -

Did a little transfer grinding maybe too much hopefully I can jb weld the one cap bolt in? If not it'll get a 346 cylinder of some variety any ideas? Need to go more between uppers and lowers? -

br-350 hard to pull rope
How did you get the flywheel off? Maybe if you taped the crank it needs to be recentered?- Shane¹
