I looked at this last night. Honestly the air filter metal piece does not look bent. Also it is very rigid so I am not seeing how it could be bent. Also the ears on the air filter base do not look worn.

I have a nice ms261 standard carb. Saw runs and oils as it should. Cylinder / air filter cover has a crack in it. See pictures. A small bit of chain rash on the clutch cover. See pictures. Also has various scratches from being used. Certainly not a shelf queen, just a good running saw. $375 plus...

Any other thoughts? I will post a picture why I think they all should have this plate.
