It came today to my other house. My work garage is at the other. I popped it open and took a quick glance at the cylinder. The bore looks decent but some port edges aren’t rounded enough for my liking. The exhaust port looking from the inside looks tiny! The piston looks as good as can expect...
According to tracking it’s in Columbus as of 2 days ago. So I’m assuming I’ll see it today. I’ll measure and order when I get the chance. I’m working 12 days so I won’t be able to play with it for a few anyways.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve read many times about squish being excessive in those am top ends. I’ll be sure to check.

My 262xp I sold a couple years back I put a pipe straight out on the front plate. Small dogs cutting standing dead elm left a black burn mark the entire cut. Put back to stock after that day.

I failed to mention I planned the base delete and MM. I’m no porter but I’m able to rough the intake and remove the lip. Will those alone be worth it though if I’m not porting the exhaust?
Fuel line and impulse will get oem also. Thanks for that.
I’m just a hobbyist/weekend warrior. Won’t see...
Pulled the trigger on the complete repair kit Husqvarna 365-372. Was on sale and have been eyeing those kits for a while. I have 2 044’s and a old flat 066 so I didn’t want another of either. So while I have all stihl I’m not racist and enjoy running the few huskys I have ran. I’m just more...
Old 10mill 25” fresh filed. I didn’t touch the rakers but probably should have. Last cut I seen some sparks. [emoji20]

I thought hickory also but the leaves are huge. That’s how the leaves are on the entire tree. South eastern Ohio my location.

Nothing ported or impressive. All stock oem 026 I just redone. New oem piston and rings without base gasket. This reading was after the first 3/4 tank after rebuild. Should be a touch higher now that I’ve had 8-10 tanks on her now.

He’s not busting your balls. He’s saying the cardboard snail trail test isn’t a test that proves a saw oils adequately for the length of bar installed.
